Training and Professional Development
Training Opportunities
Hello Sweetwater #1 Staff,
The CIA Department is excited to share some great news! We have created an awesome few months of Summer and Fall PD for our staff! Our professional development opportunities. The PD choices encompass a nice variety of training with a little bit of everything… technology, classroom strategies and wellness.
Participating certified staff will be compensated at the normal district rate and time will be submitted to PTSB. Some of the trainings are available for classified staff. Classified staff will need to adjust their weekly hours accordingly with principal/director approval.
Other options are from both in district experts as well as consultants. We can guarantee that these Professional Development opportunities are equally exciting and include topics such as Cybersecurity, Team Teaching, Reading Strategies, Student Engagement, STEM, Canvas, Apple TV, Apple Classroom, Wacom, and even a few wellness workshops! We believe there is something for everyone!
