Invitation to Bid

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of Sweetwater County School District No. One, Rock Springs, Wyoming is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of a CNC Toolroom Mill. Bids will be awarded based on a per item determination. The District reserves the right to select line items from each bid packet for final purchase without penalty for splitting bids among vendors.

Bid Specifications may be obtained from the Curriculum Instruction and Assessment Department 3550 Foothill Blvd., Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901: or by calling 307-352-3400 ext. 1239. All bid information can also be found on the district’s website:

 All equipment specifications in the bid documents are to be included in the bidder's proposal.

Sealed bids will be received in the Curriculum Instruction and Assessment Department until 2:00 PM, local time, February 7, 2023, at the Central Administration Building, 3550 Foothill Blvd, Rock Springs, Wy 82901.   Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter in the Title I conference room of the Central Administration Building. The bids will then be reviewed and presented to the Board of Trustees at their next regular meeting, February 13, 2023, for their acceptance. Attention of the bidder is particularly called to the requirements in the Wyoming Statutes regarding preference for Wyoming products and the 5 percent preference shown to Wyoming Bidders.

The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding. The Board of Trustees will accept the bid or bids that in its opinion best meet the needs of the School District.
