Sweetwater County School District #1's Preferred Provider Network is UnitedHealthcare Options PPO. This is a broad network with thousands of physicians and hospitals nationwide.  UMR is the third party administrator to oversee medical, dental and vision coverages and OptumRx  is the third party administrator to oversee pharmacy coverages.  The health plan coverage year is September 1 to August 31 with open enrollment held annually from August 1-31.  For questions regarding benefits, please contact Haley Revelli, Insurance Specialist, at revellih@sw1.k12.wy.us  or 307-352-3400 ext. 1220.  Click here for a presentation on benefits and insurance:  All About Benefits

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Beginning January 1, 2023, Sweetwater County School District #1 is partnering with Deer Oaks EAP Services LLC to offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).  The EAP is a free and confidential service provided for you, your dependents, and household members, offering a wide variety of counseling, referral, and consultation services.    

Deer Oaks EAP Services can provide tools, referrals, and additional assistance for:  

  • 8 confidential short-term counseling visits
  • Childcare and Eldercare resources with referrals
  • Financial and legal issues
  • Free Interactive online simple will
  • Retiree Assistance
  • Moving Resources/Checklist
  • ID Recovery
  • Credit Report
  • Reimbursed Ride (Cab, Uber, RideShare, Lyft)
